I’m a commercial and editorial photographer based out of Toronto. Not too long ago I had another career as an actor/filmmaker, dedicating years to learning about production which eventually led me to an interest in capturing the still image. I find inspiration in all the creative arts I’ve picked up throughout my life; hip hop & breakdance, electric guitar, musicals and comedy. Now, I bring my love for sports and action to the work as I explore the boundaries of composition, expression and light. I am drawn to portraiture because of the inherent nature of collaboration in it. People are surprising. I am excited about the unknown and the possibilities of what can happen when artists begin creating.
I graduated from the Professional Photography program at the Vancouver Institute of Media Arts in 2022. After spending some quality time on the West coast for this program I will now travel to wherever work takes me. Back in Toronto, for now, I can be found deepening my obsession with photography, whether I’m testing strobes in the studio or shooting120 film on the streets with available light.
I recently read the life changing and very relatable book “Range: How Generalists Triumph in a Specialized World” by David Epstein as well as the not-so-relatable but highly entertaining autobiographies of rockstar Dave Grohl and the iconic Sir Patrick Stewart. All fantastic reads.
